ADA Accessibility

The Texas A&M Hotel & Convention Center offers accessible parking with 27 handicap spaces and room for five ADA-compliant vans in its multi-level garage, with elevators on each floor and an accessible path to the hotel's lobby. Valet parking is available at the porte-cochère entry for guests needing extra assistance. Inside, all public areas, including bathrooms, meeting spaces, restaurants, and the bar, are ADA-accessible. The business center and fitness area are designed for wheelchair use, and the pool has individual lifts for easy access.

Accessibility Public Spaces Information

PARKING

  • The hotel’s attached, full-height parking garage offers 27 handicap parking spaces and room for five ADA vans
  • Handicap spaces are provided on all levels and located near a bank of four elevators for full accessibility no matter which floor you park on
  • From the third level of Gene Stallings Blvd parking garage connected to the second level of the hotel, guests have an accessible path of travel to the hotel’s lobby via two elevators
  • Valet parking is available at the hotel’s porte-cochère entry for guests with a handicap permit who need a bit more assistance
  • Parking garage is maintained, well lit, and equipped with visibly outlined ADA Cross Paths

ENTRANCES & ELEVATORS

  • The main entrance to the lobby has automatic double sliding doors
  • Elevators can take guests to all levels of the hotel including meeting rooms
  • The outdoor pool deck is accessible by elevator
  • The Hotel is equipped with an accessible loading and unloading area

FRONT DESK

  • Resort Front Desk is accessible to wheelchairs and features a lowered shelf convenient for guests
  • Portable TDD devices are available for the hearing impaired, and assistance-listening devices are provided in the conference center

The business center provides two computer stations designed for wheelchair users.

INDOOR MEETING ROOMS

  • Indoor Meeting Rooms are accessible

OUTDOOR POOL AREA

  • The Pool is accessible by elevator
  • The Pool features a handicap lift so guests with disabilities can easily enter the pool
